plug gap

Just picked up a set of the motorcraft sp-534 plugs and the tech said they were pregapped but what is everyone gapping theirs at? .30? Need answers pretty quick as I'm fixing to change them.

Is this for an EB? If so, I think it's 35

Mine seem to run best at .035". I had them down to .032"ish for a while and my mileage seemed to drop a little bit. The factory gap at ~50k was between.033"-.040". Changing them smoothed the idle out considerably.

Most people that recommend gaping them to .030 on a Eb are running a tune.. If you are stock i would recommend the .035

Put in the new motorcraft they were gapped at .35 and holy crap what a difference!!! Will try to post pics of old overlayed I can't from my phone.
