HI,

about a week ago my 2002 ford expedition 4.6lt 4x4 started to act funny.

My truck rpm started to stay high. 2000 rpm. It would still keep trying to go

even when i was stopped. i d have to keep pressing the break really hard.

So i clean the MAF and replaced the IAC. Now my truck wont start unless i give it gas plus

when it does start it jumps 2000 rpm for a min or 2 then drops down to about 500

when i start driveing it wont shift out of gear till the rpms hit 3500 betwwen 15-30 mps

 

You have a V-6 in an Expedition?

 

I did the same thing this week-end, I accidentally posted in the V8 forum when I thought I was doing so in here :P

I would say the engine is pulling air from some where it is not suppose to.
