New 2013 F150 Supercab 4x4 with the Ecoboost, 1,800 miles on it. I noticed on the floor of the garage a trail of black soot next to the tailpipe. Looks like it gets blown out when I start it up. I checked inside the pipe and instead of being the grey or tan color, it was black. Is this normal with this powerplant? I haven't noticed it smoking or anything once I'm out of the garage.

 

Normal........The Direct Injection and cats will will have a cold enrichment cycle. Have you seen the water run out of the Y-pipe yet? It leaks black water..............
