PCV elbow, more than one?
PCV elbow, more than one?
I recently replaced the leaky pcv elbow at the throttle body, but have read there may be more. Is there more on the back of the upper intake or something?
I see the pcv valve, felt the hoses and 'y', and they feel solid, not mushy like the front elbow was.
I don't hear a leak, but have the P0171 and 174 codes. Sort of hard starting also, worse when warm. By hard starting, I mean it does not start on the first couple of revolutions of the motor, like when it was new. Takes a bit of cranking.
Or if someone has a picture of the rear pcv hoses, that would be great. It's tough to see back in there. Trying to go by feel.
Getting panicky because I have several cars that need emission related work, and it's getting cold out and emission tests are due.
Thanks.

On the V6, the PCV valve is in the passenger valve cover, at the back. Unless you have a heated PCV valve, the only hose coming off it goes to the TB.
