IMRC Bank 1 - P1537 Help

1998 F150 4.2 186K miles

Truck is running great. Check engine just turned on gave P1537 code

I need to know where the vacuum lines are that go to the IMRC. Is this the large (about 3/8 inch ID) rubber 90 degree angle that comes off underneath the throttle body and heads towards rear of intake?

I would really like a full diagram of the vacuum lines especially the lines controlling IMRC. Trying to avoid removing the intake to find the problem.

Thanks for any help.

P1357 or P1537? If it's P1537, it may not be an IMRC problem, it could be a simple vacuum leak. I got a P1538 when my plenum gaskets and isolator bolts started to leak.

Usually IMRC problems can be traced back to the stupid rods falling out between the actuator solenoids and the valves themselves. They are held in with these plastic connectors that get brittle with age/heat.
