Starter still turning

Starter still turning

1994 f150- starter is still turning over after I turn the key off and while its running

Obviously. Can't see it through the Internet without pictures.

I might believe an inline 6. The V-6 wasn't offered in the F-150 till 1997.

Help for those is in the pre-1997 truck forum.

So U have a V-8 then if not a 300 6 ? Make up a picture and send it of the engine bay.
The reason for a starter turning could be a stuck relay. Unhook UR battery and see if it will drop out. Then get a new one. It also can happen if the relay is hooked up wrong.

Regardless of the engine it is a stuck solenoid or relay.
