Rough runner.... Help please
I procrastinated on the oil change and my truck started running rough, like as if it was running out of gas.
99 V6 all stock..... Just reached 200,000 miles
I have replaced the fuel filter and plan to replace the spark plugs and wires. The other day went to put chevron gas in and left and the service engine soon light came on. Wonder if it could be the PCV valve on the valve cover? Also I have serviced the engine oil and filter about a week before the check engine light come on.

Have you checked it for codes yet? Do that first and post back with the exact "P" codes.
In California, the parts stores don't read codes due to pressure from the mechanics' union, so you will have to find a friend with a code reader, buy your own, or pay someone to read them.

OBDII reader
If you have an Android tablet or phone, Check ebay for "OBDii bluetooth". You can pick up an adapter for under $15 and get the Torque Pro software for a few bucks more. It is a pretty decent setup for the price.
