I have a 2000 F150 Xl 4.2 5-speed, the problem is the truck seems to have too fast an idle. Trying to drive this truck in southern California traffic has been an experience because the clutch seems hard to operate at low speeds due to this seemingly high idle. I took the truck into Ford and they said eveything was fine and that the idle was un-adjustable, however it just dos'nt appear that it's working right and it's not the first 5speed I have owned. I still love the truck though!!! Anyone else have the same problem???
