well, been taking my 6 off roadin recently and I gotta say.. DAMN!!

this engine pulls it weight no problem! I was even doin k-turns with my wheels half way in the mud.. pulls right out!

anyone else have any 4.2 4Wd experiences?

 

the first winter I had my 4x4, it was still rollin on the stock tires so very little mud action. New tires, more mud and no problems.

 

i've had mine in the sand pit, and it runs very good, and since it's the short wheel base, it is great off road :P

also, i put new tires on, after i tore the sidewall out of the stock goodyears on a piece of brush. I don't know why ford puts those biased ply pieces of garbage on the trucks.

 

well my truck is no 4X4 but i try to get it dirty every once in awhile...does better then expected in the mud..{img}https://www.f150online.com/galleries...=2381&anum=347{/img}
