I know ford had the tsb that they did for all the eb motors where they blocked off like 5 inches of the intercooler.

My question is if your truck ran fine without the tsb repairs then have any of you guys removed the shield? If you have a truck that ran fine why would you want to give up the extra intercooler capacity?

Seems like the truck would drop hp/tq as it can't be as aggressive with its timing or boost curves or it would detonate.
