Not just Ford, but ALL vehicles!

The only application that the K&N would be good for are vehicles running races like Baja. This is the reason K&N was invented, because OEM filters would quickly clog with dust during the race. The K&N doesn't clog up.......same amount of dust, guess where it is going?

Right, I've seen photo's from others. Personally I've found sand granules inside the intake tube, stuck in the oil. Didn't matter how the filter was oiled. I oiled per instruction and even oiled lighter than recommended. The tube always had a mist coat.

Tell you what tho, I use Amsoil filter now and haven't had a better filter in the past. This filter is shaped exactly like the OEM Motorcraft, but uses nano fiber media and is a dry element. I can never find embedded soil with this one. Don't have to clean the MAF as much, -still clean it, but never find it dirty or slimy lol.

Cleaning is easy. A good power thud from the "what's that for" finger and it might drop a couple crumbs. Yea, maybe two (magnification needed). Not much sticks to it. Very cheap in price IMO, for 100,000 mile filter. It's nice not worrying about the filter anymore, -and engine diet.
