Talking JBA Headers

Well lets try again.I posted when the board crashed last time. The install was easy but time consuming.Had access to air tools and a lift took about three hours.Took off tires and went through the wheel wells.Follow instructions all the way on the dip stick part there is no short cut on that.Learned the hard way.I expected a little more performance but was very surprised to get a lot more. The headers added a lot more torque through out the rpm range. It really pulls hard off the line get that little push back in the seat in first and second.no more hesitation.I am very pleased with the jba's.I would recomend this mod. With the jba's and the superchip working together this truck really moves.I will let you know if there is a mileage increase after this tank is gone if I can keep the leaded foot from having too much fun.

The chip doesn't have to be reprogramed.I think some one else on the board had his reprogramed to squeeze out a couple of more hosepower but he also had some other mods.It changed the sound a little, more throaty, the dipstick has to go in per instructions through the header then put the header on,no big deal.but if you try putting it on after you put the header on forget it.do not bend it to fit.there are such tight tolerences in the engine the crank will hit the dipstick tube.don't ask how I know...LOL duh.No pics sorry.Any other questions I can answer I'll be happy to.

Geez I haven't been on this site for a while, it's changed!

Anyway, mike150, I want to get the headers for my truck but will not be installing them myself because I know nothing about how the installing goes. What I want to ask you, which someone probably already did, is where to get them from and what to expect to pay. What's a good price to pay and what's the highest amount to pay for what they're worth. Any info I would gladly appreciate! Thanks email: 2496906@sprintpcs.com
