Hello people im new on here wonder if some one could help me out.I have a 2005 F-150 with the 4.2 lt automatic.About a week agoe a drove across the city,when i pulled in and parked i could here pinging,grinding noises and engine was running rough.At first i thought it was a pully ,so i removed the belt and found no bad pullys.Yesterday i drove the truck and the only symptom i had was a rough idle.
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated

 

We're going to need a little more info, at this point it could be just about anything.

Miles, Mods if any, Maintainence record, Check engine light on, if so what codes?

Plenty of people here to help, just need a tad more direction.
