Calling All Longhorns
Calling All Longhorns
hey, if the Aggies start an F-150 club, we should too... anyway, just wanted to know how many of yall are longhorns... I know there are at least a few from the "lone start state" thread...

i dont know if i'd really have time to make it an official club... i'm pretty busy with work and school and stuff, but it'd be cool if all the UT f150online people could meet sometime... hopefully some more people will see this and reply.
the only official car clubs i know of are longhorn offroad, SAE (thats more of a mech. eng. club though), and i think back when i was a freshman there was a miata club. i cant really be in longhorn offroad, since my truck is 1wd.... well lets see how many people respond then we can see if we could all meet sometime.

yeah, i'm in longhorn offroad also, but i'd like to be in an f-150 club at Texas than just an offroad club. Its not very hard to start an official club, all you need is i think 2 members, and pay some small fee, and you're official. well i guess lets just see how many people respond that want to get together. people that would be eligible to join would include current students or faculty, and alumni. well i guess we'll just see what happens.

I played football for Texas in the early 90's under Mackovic, and I'd be happy to show my Longhorn spirit and come to a Longhorn F150 event. Name the time and place and I'll be there. JnM_Bronson@hotmail.com
rOland,
i do come to the meetings, i just joined at the end of the spring, and i missed the last meeting of the semester because of class or a test or something. i drive the white 150 xlt reg. cab 4x2 v-6. it had fiberglass runningboards on it in the spring, but not anymore, also has a fiberglass tonneau.
what i've noticed about fords and 4x4 is this: if you have 4-wheel, and get into some mud, you prolly will need it, if you don't then you can prolly get out anyways. i had a 93 ranger 4x4 and it didn't like mud without using 4x4. just my $.03
