Question Flashing overdrive Light?

I have a 1997 4.2 with 58,500 miles. I have noticed recently that my overdrive light on my shifter flashes on & off constantly between 35 & 70 mph. The transmission seems to be shiffting between drive & overdive you can feel it while driving. Has anyone had this problem? Is it expensive? My local mechanic says it may be a sensor. I also put 22" wheels on it recentlly may this be the problem or maybe caused it? The manual says to have it serviced or transmission failure may occur.

1997
4.2 automatic
22" KMC Venoms
4- 12" Kicker soloberics
alpine radio
Dvd player with 4" screen
K@n Air filter
Borla custom exhoust
Comming soon 2" 2" drop.

take it to the shop

That flashing light is your tranny's way of telling you something is wrong and Isuggest a trip to the dealer to have them retrieve the code from the computer and tell you whats wrong.
