Ecoboost Shudder

I have had my Ecoboost XLT Supercrew since March. I really like it. My question is, do any of you feel a “shudder” when you start from a dead stop. This does not feel like a engine miss but more like a torque converter or If I didn’t know better the tires spinning just a bit. It is a little worse when I am hooked to my travel trailer. This only happens when starting from a dead stop. It only last until the truck is moving about 1 mph. Any input would be helpful.

I have not noticed that, but quite frequently I feel a bump/shutter when I let off the gas or its downshifting sometimes. It's pretty noticeable, like running over a dip in the road or something.

I had this same experience when I was towing a motorcycle trailer. The trailer, with motorcycle, combined for a weight of appoximately 1600 lbs. and this happened while underway at about 40-50 mph. I was accelerating to highway speed but perhaps a little too gently on the pedal.
Later, after we stopped for dinner and I'd had a few cold bevies, my wife drove but didn't have this happen. She tends to have a bit more heavy foot so I'm sort of assuming that the truck was sensing a load and wanted a more aggressive right toe.
For what it's worth, my first thought was that this "shudder" was actually flywheel wobble...a semi-educated guess for sure!
I haven't had this happen again since this one incident but I'm going to be hauling my bike again this weekend so we'll see how it goes and I'll post again.

[QUOTE=rancheroracer;4645008]Here's another thread on it, (mine still isn't resolved):

Thanks for the info. I am going to put a few more miles on before I take it in and also pull my trailer (7,000 lbs. +). The shudder seems to be getting less or I'm getting used to it. Thanks again for telling me about the other thread.

I was at my Ford dealer today, Ford engineer was there & said the latest is they want to try different rear springs. Supposedly suspension is the same with the Ecoboost as the older V8s & they think the springs will do it. I don't think it will but we'll see. The springs are ordered.
