Almost Dead!
Well it's 9pm on Saturday night and my 2 friend from NC came down to visit me. Being the goog friend that I am we went to Outback for some dinner. On the way there, on a 4 lane road, I get stopped at a light. I'm second in line in the left lane, but up front in the right lane was a Lincoln LS with 2 hotties in the back and 2 guys(kids) in the front pimping out mommies car. My friends are obviously starring hard and I'm suprised there not yelling stuff at this point. So the light turns green and he nails the gas and takes off. I'm thinking uh oh, this would be cool if I could get next to him. All the sudden the truck gods smiled and the car in front of me pull off and the light up ahead had just turned red. 
OH YEAH!!!! My friends are lookin hard at the girls in the back of the LS who are lookin right back at them smiling. I rev my motor and he rev his. As the light gets ready to change I get up to about 3500rpm. The green light drops and I pop the clutch, tires squalk a little and we're off. The LS is right next to me, I grab second and pull ahead. I run 2nd to over 5k and grab 3rd, thats when he starts to pull ahead so were runnin about 65 (in a 45) and the next light turns red in front of us. So we back off and when we did I was at his front door. Well my line had about 6 more cars than his, so I wasnt able to say anything there, till I noticed the should to his right, which I hopped on to, got next to him and motioned for him to roll down his window. This took a few tries b/c he couldnt find the button. So I'm yellin to him 'THE OTHER BUTTON!!' My friends and the girls are all rollin at this point and I as him 'Is that a v6 or v8?' he says it's a V8. I said 'Ohh, I've got a V6, have a nice day.' Now since it was obiously mommies car, it might have only been a v6 and he just had no clue. But as my first time running this truck, I was thrilled that it did so good and that I was even able to run with an LS. I may have only ended up at his front door, But I had my hands around the neck of something that I though I would never be able to touch. I must say, that felt DAMN GOOD!!
