Ecoboost and 35s

I drove one with a procomp 6" lift and 35x12.50x20 toyo mt. There was a tiny bit of power loss but not much. Nothing like what i experienced when i did the same to my 09 lariat.

I just picked up my 11 ecoboost and am going to do the rancho with 33's.

The 6" lifts look good but unless your going go regear i dont think they are worth the power loss.

Lifted Ecoboost coming soon....
I ordered a 2011 which should be here in about 10 days.
-Supercrew, 6-1/2 bed, FX4, Ecoboost, 4:10 gears etc (with 35's it will be like having 3.73's).
- Dealer is installing a Racho 4" Lift with RS9000 shocks with a Procomp drive shaft lowering bracket.
Will have 325/65R18s Nitto Terra Grapplers with 9x18 Fuel Wheels (Nitto's are 12.8 wide and 34.8 high).
The Dealer is also looking into changing the computer settings to tell the truck it has 3.73 gears versus the 4:10 gears and that way all should work close to normal and also reset the spedo.

That's clever, I wonder if it's possible. Let us know

Sorry, for the delay on any update. First the truck got postponed in shipping and made it to the dealer late. Then late last week, I was told that the RS9000 shocks the dealer order for me are on back order form 4wheel parts. So right now that truck is sitting at the dealership. They offered to install the 5000 series shocks until the 9000's arrive, but I told them to hold the truck until all right shocks arrive. So, the estimated date now is sometime the week of the 23rd to take delivery. I'll provide an update when it all comes together.....

I have a Leveling kit on mine. I havnt noticed a Mpg loss yet. I dont plan to ever lift it. I have built other trucks in the past the correct way. Fox coilevers, regear new leafs bilstiens..... It just turns a really really expensive truck into a toy.
