MAF Question.
Where the hell is it on the 4.2 v6?
My father has a 1998, and he was interested in aquiring one of those K&N FPIK. I told him I'd take a look at his set-up before anything, but all he described to me, was a big plastic tube that headed into the TB. I'm assuming the stock filter is contained inside it..
Is it tucked away in there, or...? I'm no stranger to MAFs, as I've installed a Lightning MAF on my 4.6 Thunderbird (which is a better idea than going out and honing out your sampling tubes).
Does anyone have any links/pics or recommendations for the 4.2?
Thanks,
Derek

If you open up the air intake canister look down the tube toward the engine and it's right there. Click my link and check my photo page.
