I was told 399 from the jba dealer, price may vary a touch because they told me they were on hand, then said they made a mistake and were "on order" and should be here in a couple of weeks..

I'm waiting till i can afford another 200.00 to have them power coated first. wish they were stainless like most of there headers i just cant see paying 350.00 for something thats going to look terrible in a few months , just my thought dan

Good point about the rust.I think I will be painting them with some of the high temp ceramic engine paint.Saw some at schucks last nite that could withstand 1200 degrees.

Hey;
We have been working to get the JBA headers available as well. Hopefully we can get the information you want within a week. As soon as the headers are actually out we should have them available along with specs.

If everyone is looking to get the headers let me know, perhaps we can work on a deal from JBA?

Paul, that actually sounds like a great idea! Only one problem with that is everyone is gonna want some feedback before a purchase (unless you already know what your'e getting into) because of the factors involved:
1) pain in the a$$ install, may need a shop to do it
2) Backpressure loss, I've been readin that's an issue with some 4.6 and 5.4 owners
3) wot gains only, I've been hearing full throttle is where you notice the headers, not normal driving conditions..

so with all these things considered, guinea pigs are needed at first.. I'll be one of them..

just some food for thought

I got some hp & torgue rating from jba today. All I have to say is don't get your hopes up to high.The preliminary dyno runs achieved a whopping 10-15 hp gain and a gain of 9-12 ft/lbs of torque on a stock motor.A person will see bigger gains with airflow work done to it> How much more is a mystery to me.

The JBA brand is carried by the F-150 Online Store, so anyone wanting them can order them thru there. You may well not see them listed in the Online Store for the 4.2 V-6 specifically, since they're very new, as they carry a lot more than just what's listed here, so you can just give them a call for that info.

Good luck!

Will they make our exhaust sound louder? what should the total hp gain be when you combine the JBA headers, Flowmaster series40 exhaust, and FIPK?

thanks
