This is just as good as airraid and cheaper


1. Bought KN drop in for ford 4.2 v6
2. removed airbox
3. atached KN to intake by using stock clasp
4. made sure seal was tight(it was)
5. cut out 3x6 board
6. drilled holes in each corner
7. attached board to holes left by airbox with cable ties
8. attached filter to board with cable ties
9. proudly told dad what i did
10. got called a retard
11. dad cursed while removing everything i did and put back on stock airbox.
12. dad went to sleep
13. went outside and redid steps 1-8
14. reset computer
15. felt like new car
16. havent told dad


This is cheaper (150 less) than an airraid. It works just as well and gained a better throttle response. If you think i am unintellgient for doing this, please let me know and i will buy an airraid.
