Will the use of Mobil 1 synthetic oil void my new, 2001 warranty?

 

No, synthetic oil will not void your warranty. I just recommend keeping a record of all oil changes, even if it ie only receipts from when you buy the oil.

I thought that was the case, but you never know. Especially with this new Ford requirement for 5W-20 weight oil. I don't expect any problems with my V-6 before the 36K warranty is up and I want the engine to last a little past that!
