10 mpg

Question 10 mpg

I have 1997 ford f150 v6 ,4wd ,auto with 3.55 gears and 56000 miles. It is getting 10 mpg.I have had it looked they said no code are showing up.So they do not know what to do.I have put on new wires,plugs,fuel and air filter. I need some input to no what to try next?

Have you always gotten 10MPG, or is this a recent development? If it is only sucking the gas recently, then you know there is a problem. My mileage just recently got much worse, but I have attributed it to cold winter temps.

Russell, Ky. Is that Russellville, KY.? I used to live in Madisonville, KY.

I have just got this truck so I do not know if the mpg is good or bad.It is at dealer now the cam is out of time or that is what they said.They also said that ford sent a recall out about it. I live on lake cumberland
