okay, my trucks been in the shop scine last time i posted on this thread, not his shop, but the FORD shop. And they just now said its was a number of things, Computer went bad, bad coil, and the E3 spark plugs.... yep, I learnt the hard way. NEVER run E3 in the Essex V6... Worst mistake I've ever made... Needless to say.. cylinder six's spark plug end broke off... i mean the firing pin and all, punched a whole in the piston, and ate up the side wall.... So now I await a $2500 engine to be put in my truck..

Just figured id let yall know so if anyone else had these probs they could be avoided.

 

yeah get them plugs out of there ford parts only and if its shutting badly on start up get someone with a good DTC reader to check if your O2 sensors are lazy check bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 the ones up near the manifolds
