Question Coolant leak

I was instaling my brush guard the other day and notice i had a coolant leak and wondered if it was part of the timing chain gasket recall,But i was not part of the recall so i looked under the truck again during the day when i could see and notice it looked looked like it was coming from the water pump.Did any one else experince this problem? any suggestion's?

Thanks

Unhappy

Yeah, my coolant has been leaking for a month now. Its a steady leak, not one to worry about much, and it isn't showing up in the oil (thankfuly!!!). Haven't had time to remedy it due to classes and work. Any suggestions and helpful hints would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, I have had this problem. Around Thanksgiving is when I noticed it. The coolant was not coming from the weep hole. But, it was coming from a hairline crack on the top, a couple of inches to the left of the weephole. I have had the timing chaincasket cover done twice. That's another story. Anyway, just had a new waterpump and belt put on a week and a half ago for $180. I am at 100500K mile right now.

Kirby,

Just wondering, is your coolant leaking anymore now that you have replaced the water pump? Thanks.
