I had to ask you guys about this one..

i went to get gas today at Texaco and the guy at the pump told me the plastic piece that lets the nozzle in my tank was broken..
i asked him if he could grab the broken piece outta the gasline and he tried to get it out with a pen. Suddenly I watch him drop the pen into my gastank (I'm pissed now).. I am going to call the owners of the gas station first thing tuesday morning because I feel like it's his responsibility to get it outta there.
do you guys think it may damage my fuel pump? or maybe mixing the ink w/gas is a bad combo?

any help would be appreciated.. this is gonna suck tryin to get a gas station to drop my tank (if nessesary)
