Arrow goin up those hills!

well I installed my superchip this weekend and it feels great! My truck shifts nice n' firm and the hills are just another part of the road... heh!!

I would highly recommend the chip for us 4.2 guys.. it really gave me the kick my truck was missing for sure! kinda feels like a little v8 now :P

I hav'nt noticed a diffrence yet with the gas, seems to be taking it's time goin down the gauge...
but then again, it's been kinda wet around here so I'm not nailin it all over the place!

cyas, and thanks for your replies

p.s.(has any other 4.2 owners installed the airraid kit along with the chip and noticed a diffrence?)

I've got the chip and an airaid. I second your comments about the chip and hills. On the freeway I drive a long but gentle hill every day. Stock, my truck would not maintain 70 mph in OD - it would downshift down to second and want to accellerate all the way to 80, or could hold 60-65 in 3rd or OD. With the chip, it pulls it at 70 in OD no problem.

On my truck the airaid added a noticeable power increase above 3,500 rpm or so, but no change below. The high rpm and overall power increase were not nearly as much as from the chip. The airaid is much louder at wide open throttle but not noticeable under light throttle.
