Question Anyone heard of Diablo-sport Chips...

I was on (gasp!) another F-150 site and heard someone talk about a chip from Diablo sport. They gave a link to a web site:
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/diablof150.htm

Which I followed and found this product:

The Diablochip, which purports the following gains for our engine:
4.2 Liter +30 HP & +28 lb-ft Tq

all for a price that is very competitive with the SuperChip, $199.95

(they also have good prices for their K&N filters, $39.95 each.)

My question is, has anyone heard of these people? Does anyone have any experience with their products? Does anyone have any experience with this dealer? We inquiring minds on a budget want to know.

Yes, I have heard of them.Don't know about the quality of their product though.Personally, I will get a superchip asmost people in here I done. They may cost a little more but you get the best customer service (Mike Troyer).

Well, I scrounged around on the internet a bit more and I found conflicting listings of power gains in HP and torque. I can't find a homepage for the company, and, according to at least two different sites that I found references to them on, they are rather new to the scene (though, they claim "over 20 years of experience" this could be 40 guys with 6 months experience for all we know, or one guy with 19.5 years who's on life support and one guy with 6 months that's pumping him for information.) Also, the price on the chip kit varies wildly between sites, from 199.95 to $400+. I think that I too will go with SuperChips when I have the money (can't wait for refund time).

Wink

Funny, when I tried that the first three times, it gave me a "server unreachable" error. The web's funny like that. Thanks, I got in today and found that they were of no more help than their distributors. Until they post actual dyno results that they are ready to back up, I won't be ready to buy their products.
