Post we also need injectors if

For everyone thinking about doing the ported and polished heads, upper and lower intakes, and a cam.I just became aware(thanks mike) that with these mods new injectors are in order. The stock injectors are good only up to around 240 hp.After that the motor won't get enough fuel.24# injectors will do the trick for these mods.

What about running NOS? Are the stock injectors ok? I figure my truck will be pushing 298hp.

I really don't know if you will or not on the funny juice.Talk to ILOVNOS or Mike Troyer (in the computer forum) about it.Mike is very knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions(wether they are related to chomp. chips or not)

getsumbaby- Injectors and a new MAF are my next mods(somewhere in between gears and a 4-link). I'm doing just fine on the stockers, although I would like the reassurance of having the fuel when I need it, especially if I sell the NOS and start saving for a blower(most likely).

My truck is right on the brink of the stock injectors(well justa bit over) when it's on the juice. 244 HP(is that 240 nuumber for injectors at the flywheel?)
