Torque rating is incorrect. CORRECT torque rating is 255 lb-ft at 3000 rpm.

99's the same? Or did they get a boost with the rest of the ford lineup? 205 and 255 are some pretty nice numbers to start playing with. If we had less weight(shed say, 1500 lbs ) those numbers would really do some damage.......

Thanks for the info. What rpm is max HP? The reason I ask is for our Desktop Dyno2000 model. We're importing airflow files from our ported 99-00 3.8 engines (same heads, almost same intakes) into a new model for 4.2L V6 Hi-Po engines.

'99s do NOT have any changes to them. ALL 4.2L F Series engines are rated at 205 horsepower at 4440 rpms and 255 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpms. No exaggerations, just numbers straight from the owner's manuals which can be viewed on Ford's Owner Connection web site.
