Have you found it?
I have a whistle with my Airaid at mid throttle... I can't seem to find it. but I think it is where the MAF senser connects to the mounting bracket.... Did anyone silicone there so no air could slip in? I think that might be where the whistle is coming from what do you all think????
It's probably your air filter. K&N's are notorious for the "whistle". Personally I think it's kinda cool. To make sure: Is it like a suction type whistle?? Especially when the truck feels real torquey pretty high in the RPM'S????

It happens at mid throat or less... and it does sound like a sucking whistle. but at WOT all I hear is that deep throaty roar... So what do you think? Should do a little silicone...?
NO! The noise is the throttle body cracking open and the box-less and high-flow, less-dense filter element allows you to hear this now. It is kinda like the saying " if you are not around does a tree still make noise if it falls in the forest". The stock filter and silencer hides this noise, so it has always happend, now you are there to hear it......
