Question Replacing the PCV Valve

I have thought of replacing the PCV valve with a valve cover breather, you know those little chrome air breathers that fit in the slot of the PCV valve hole. Has anyone done this mod? and what did you do with the hose from the airbox to the PCV valve? And did you notice any changes after the mod was done
Thanks.

You're playing with fire. Literally. The PCV system removes explosive gases from the crankcase and burns them in the cylinder. If you screw around with that process these gases can build up and blow up real good....
