superchip going out of business

superchip going out of business
I was just at truckperformance.com and there it was in black and white the makers of superchip closed down without any proir notice.Seems kinda strange if they really were the best chip on the market. Go check it out for yourselves.

Kinda late in the news!!
SuperChips is doing fine (A Superchip from Superchips is what everyone is talking about here).
Superchip is a "sucker" company using the type of marketing that uses a name simular to a good/proven company...
Superchip is over (good)
Superchips is fine (as always)
Mike, do I get a free chip now? LOL!!!!

Oh, I guess I feel pretty dumb now.Oh well, live and learn I guess.So Mike how much would it set me back for a superchip? It won't be till june but I am trying to budget things out so I will know how much Of my vacation check I will be spending.I drive a 2000 f150 sport with the 4.2v6 and a 5 speed

This happened back sometime in March, and it has nothing to do with Superchips Inc.
The company that went out of business was called "ADS", and they deliberately for years played on the name "Superchip", and in fact there were at one point lawyers involved in that mess.
ADS was a very minor player who had generally not-so-hot products, and consequently they folded their doors. We hate to see anyone lose their job of course.
I'm hoping the day will come when people are no longer confused by their ploy of calling their product a "Super Chip".
