Question Airaid

For those of you that have bought the unit for the V6, is it worth the $199 that the online store sales it at? How much of a difference does it honestly make?

I installed the unit in my truck about a month ago. It helps make the truck more responsive at higher throttle (onramps, passing, etc.) You also get a throatier sound emanating from under the hood. If you don't want to spend the dough you should at least get the filter by itself. By the way, Truckin' magazine April issue. They installed an FIPK in a Suburban and stated that alone resulted in a 12hp/22lb increase. Somthing to think about.
