Question do any of your 5-speeds do this?

squeak when you press the clutch in? sounds like it needs to be lubed. I pump the clutch quickly, and it makes the squeak everytime I press the clutch...

Yes, my clutch makes that squeaky noise when I press it in. But can only hear it when I have the truck off. It doesn't bother me as I am driving since I can't hear it. I hope your's it any worse than mine that requires some work. I might need that same jo done to mine. Let me know

Fake,
No squeak here but my deceased Nissan Pickup started to squaek at about 60,000 miles and all i did was spray a little WD40 on the under side of the pedal.

Seems like mine does that too, but I only notice it when shifting from 2 to 3, and then only sometimes. I thought it was the shifter -- I'll have to pay more attention to it.

Shortly after I got my truck it stared this squesking. I took it in and they replaced the slave cylinder. It fixed the problem for 30,000 miles. A few weeks ago the squeak started again. I too it back in and they replaced the slave, clutch, pressure plate, throwout.

IMHO, the slave in a weak link and does not get the necessary lubrication.

See if you can determine if the squeak is coming from inside the bell housing.

I've had the annoying squeak since I got mine in 4/97. I told the dealer to take care of it each time I took it in under warranty and bascially it never got fixed and I couldn't tell the difference.

Mine squeaked for a while right after I bought my rig, but I don't think it does it anymore... I'll have to check it out!
