Post Itty Bitty engine people

Just wanted to let you know I am with you in your fight.

Let me explain. I recently traded my F150 in for a F250 SD due to my towing needs. After carefull consideration and thought I chose the new 5.4L 260 HP version. That makes me the smallest engine in a Super Duty. I have been spending some time over at Ford-diesel.com and now I know how you all feel. I am small but I am strong. They also have a superiority complex with their power strokes and their V10's and such but I will champion the "Itty Bitty Engine Owners" over there and point out their flaws and play on their emotions for all of us "Adequate Engine" owners. I will not forget you all.

Keep the faith and keep up the Mods!

2000 F-250 Super Duty, SuperCab XLT, Oxford white with medium grey cloth captains chairs, 5.4L Triton V8 (260 HP version!), 4R100 4 Speed Automatic Transmission, 4 wheel ABS, Deluxe Aluminum Wheels, Trailer Towing Package, Class IV Hitch, Reece load distribution system, Escort Sensor II Electronic Brake controller, K&N filter, Sure Stop towing skirt, "Westin" black powder coated step bars, "White-White" head lamps, Herculiner bed liner, ISSPRO Tranny Temp Guage, Excursion center console.

Cphilip, I know I speak for all the brethren when I say thank you for championing our cause in seeking truth, understanding, and respect from our gas-guzzling, over-polluting cousins.
March on, and God Speed, Soldier!

thanks cphillip, but its worst when your boyfriend is part of the "i'm bigger and better than you" crowd.
he may say "been there and done that" about the v6, well, all I got to say is "been there and done that" on alot of other things.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm glad that yall have all banded together, I just hope we can stay as one family of Fords and not seperate group under the umbrella. Just a thought.

The main reason I say this is we haven't had a single Superduty, Expe, Prior to 97 model, etc.. at one of the Texas Rallies. I would like to see all types of Ford Trucks at these deals and I believe that you all are helping to start this. Thanks

Thumbs up

I second that Mumbly!

We should be pickin' on the Tundra (or the Tacoma as the case may be) and the C-1500's.

I still say bring on the 4.2L! Ennis is not far! Lay it on the line.

It's all in fun!

Cool

Mumbly,
We had one,(1) Superduty member, J-C show up for the March 19 Rally. I think he's retired now and touring the states w/ his wife.

excuse me Mr. Blown Out of Proportion, but I recall numerous times when you call me ranting and raving in your loudest voice when something rubs you the wrong way on this board.
so who's the one who gets a little carried away???

Yes I agree I like the whole Ford truck family. If I hadn't needed to tow more I would still be driving my 97 F150 Lariat 4X4. I miss that truck.

Another thing is I like it better over here. My goal right now is to try and boost the posts and interest on the SuperDuty section right here on F150online for us Gasser SD owners. The activty over at F-D.com in that area is sparse and they seem snooty towords us Gass SD owners.
