black trim around back window

black trim around back window
Has anyone ever painted that black trim around the back window.I know that the window must come out to get the trim off i really dont want to tape off the whole truck just for that piece of trim.Any info is helpful

Not on my ford but I did do it on my Dodge. It was a pian in the !@#$. I painted it black and it never really looked all that good. Good luck!
