Hey guys new to this broad here myself. I have a 98 4.2 and I want to do some mods to it but have a hard time finding anything. Can any one guide me in the right direction? Plus some of the very first things I want to do is bump up the fuel pressure and get a better spark for it (MSD) or something. Can I even put a high performance fuel pressure regulator on it with an MSD ignition yet? every thing is stock on my truck so far. Thanks for your help guys later!.

Higher fuel pressure and MSD ignition parts do absolutely nothing for you except empty your wallet. The stock injectors/fuel pressure and ignition can handle a LOT of mods.

Search the forum for "Gotts Mod" which will remove some intake restriction and cost you about $15. Go from there. The next mod should be a programmer and custom tunes. Read some threads in the Tuners forum. Exhaust mods can help somewhat.
