Rough Idle at startup/stalling

Hi, hope someone can help with this. I just bought a 97 f150 v6. around 157k miles. Use it to drive back and forth to work. Was running fine no problem for the first couple weeks. Now when i start it up after sitting for over 8 hours it runs very badly, missing/stalling/shaking Popping/crackling noise is coming from the plug wires. I pushed down on the #5 plug and it arched and shocked the crap out of me. After about 5 minutes of restarting and lightly pressing on gas truck returns to normal idling as it warms up but i still hear the popping noise occasionally. I looked over all the plug wires and i see no cracks but plugs seem loose on top of motor, so I'm assuming the plug wires just need replaced but I would like some input as I am new to owning a ford. Thanks

If the plugs feel loose, retorque them before they blow out!

Get a new set of Motorcraft plugs and wires.

its the plug wires that feel lose not the plugs themselves, another note is it only does this when its wet out, like foggy drizzly morning or rain storm

Again - get a new set of Motorcraft plugs and wires. Make sure you use dielectric grease when installing.
