Truck won't start... HELP!!

Ok, I am asking this question for my husband, who is at football camp. Our F-250 died on us yesterday. We had driven it out of town the day before. We got home, parked it and went to start it the next day and it wouldn't start. The engine turns over, and it sputters and sounds like it wants to start but it won't. It is also spitting black smoke ourt of the tail pipe. We can't get it to a dealership to have it "diagnosed" until tomorrow, but we are trying to get an idea of what the problem is?? We tried to charge the batteries, thinking that something was going on there, and that didn't help. It is a 2006 F250 Super Duty and I believe it has a 6.4 liter V8.It also has a Turbo on it. Could it be something with the fuel injector? Is the turbo maybe going out?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

why did you put this in the v6 forum? you first posted it in general discussion then the mod moved it to the f250 forum and now you posted the same thing in the v6 forum. Just stick to the f250 forum they WILL help you
