not an F150 but need help

Hey guys I need some help. My girlfriend has a 97 mercury villager 3.0l. She hit a deer last week and now the engine will not start. I checked the inertia switch and you can hear the fuel pump running when you turn on the ignition. I am not sure where to begin, I checked the wiring and didnt see any issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Check for fuel pressure - hit the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and fuel should spray out. Check for spark by pulling a plug out, reconnecting the wire, and touching the threads to a good ground.
