Ok, let me start off by saying, I'm sorry if there is a post about this already, but i could not find aomething about this in the search!

Now, i have a literally brand new compressor, only one year old, and about 2 monthes ago, when i put the gas pedal more than half way to the floor, my Air Conditioner goes to defrost. NO matter what. NO matter what setting the AC is on, It goes to defrost.

I have a hunch it's the O2 sensors?

Any ideas?

 

Nope. Not even close.

You have a vacuum leak in the A/C control system. Plenty of posts here - and you will find better info in the HVAC forum.

 

Any approach of fixn that?
