Need help, truck won't start

After my lunchbreak today I couldn't get my truck to start and it was running fine 30 minutes prior. The engine wouldn't even try to turn over and we couldn't hear any clicking. The radio worked and the headlights were working (although it was bright out and hard to tell if the headlights were bright enough). Any idea what might be going on?

BTW, I have a 1999 4.2L V6 F150 with a 5 speed.

Thanks.

Ever try push starting it?

Your battery is dead or else the wires on the starter decided to make your life rough. The starter wires have a tendency to rust off if you live in the snow belt.

Switch on the clutch pedal may have got bent out of position or the contacts are bad. Maybe even came unplugged!
I haven't looked at the newer trucks, but older ones all had a safety switch there.
