98 V6 Alternator Whine

Ok so we recently are having a humming noise feeding back through the speakers of my fiance's truck. Replaced the alternator with a 130A one in november, no other noises out of the norm, except for the hum through the speakers. Anyone know where to suggest looking?

We have a department store of toys in this truck lol. 0/-1G Power and Ground wiring the 3600W stereo system. Full effect of green accessory lighting(grill, nozzles, underglow, floor, speakers). Battery at a rest nothing running is sitting at 11.5 so it's not 100% and probably be ready to replace with an Optima (or two, lol).

Any idea's?

Sounds like you need some noise filters. A good car stereo joint can probably fix you up.

K, that's kind of what i was thinking but... you never know really. If it helps anyone reading this the noise accelerates as the truck does but is drowned out easily with the volume being adjusted accordingly lol. Any other idea's?

its a weak ground if aftermarket stereo move ground. if stock, tap into ground wire and add a ground, if you have a am ground that better.
