i shouldve posted it here to begin with being that the truck is a v6 manual. original post is HERE. basically, i experience the rattle more often when accelerating from 1st to 2nd or when going in reverse during the part of balancing gas and clutch, and then you get that "shrudder" effect just before the engine dies out on you. but it has appeared when the truck is actually in park/idle. help please

 

just thought id share my finding! it's the black metal piece in the picture. nut loosened up over time. tightened it and rattling is gone!
