Ive been in the process of looking to do a small lift on my new 07 f150. Ive got a 4.2l V6 5-speed, I was asked what gears I had in the rear end and I have no clue what I have. Ive looked in a manual and it said it could be 3.31,3.55,3.73, or 4.10...I was told to look on the tag on the axle or on the inside of the truck and Ive looked and dont know what I have.

One tag has the oil in the axle, and the other says


V806A
3 1(or l) 88 6m07

on the sticker on the inside of my door it says Axle with the number 27 under it...Anybody have any clue what my gears are?

 

check the door jamb sticker for axle code.

with a 5 speed u prob have 3.31. I have an auto that had 3.55, i went to yukon 4.56 cuz im runnin 33x12.50x18's that are heavy as hell
