I have an intermittent problem of my engine starving for fuel and not being able to start. Once the incident occurs, it will be fine for a while and then repeat. I have an EGR failing code, but I am not sure if that is the case. I also checked pressure along the fuel line from the fuel filter to the engine side and I have a constant pressure of 35, even when I power brake. Can a failing EGR sensor be the problem, or should I look at replacing the fuel pump? Any advise would be much appreciated.
