4.2 coil

4.2 coil

i have 03 w/44k. truck sits almost all week have replaced coil twice in 2 years 1st was motorcraft 2nd was from autozone. changed plugs and wires w/1st . is there an aftermarket coil that will last longer? truck is missing again

i bought the Accel coil from summit racing and would say it fixes the problem.

RBTrucker. Are you sure that what causing the missing in your truck? The reason I ask is that I have 140.000 miles on my OG coil. I am thinking of changing mine just because it has a lot of miles on it not cause it bad. Ill change it at 150.000 miles that should be around the end of this year. Ben

IS this a better product then the OEM coil?

yea i'm sure, both times i replaced it it ran fine i think the biggest prob is the fact that the truck sits outside all the time and doesnt hardly get used. in last 2 years only put about 7500 miles on

it seams like moisture plays a part in it for a while till it warms up.but after a couple of weeks it wont quit the miss
