hey 4.2L, i got the pics and stuff to show you what to do in my gallery. the picture are the last two in my Exterior Mods gallery.

here are the instructions:
take all 6 white(-) ground wires and sauder them together and to a single piece of white wire. do the same for the black(+), and sauder them to a single black wire.

Second Picture:
first, you will need two 3-way scotchloks(made by 3M). to make LEDs operate with the blinker, connect the LED black(+) wire to the green(+) wire of the side lamp using the crimp. to make LEDs operate with parking lamp, connect the LED black(+) wire to the black(+) wire in the side lamp using the crimp. connect the LED white(-) wire to the brown(-) wire in the side lamp.

Yes. use a fork or something of that nature to pull the plugs out. At least thats how mine came out.

EDIT: You can always remove the grill if you don't want to scratch it. It also makes it easier on you when you align the head lights.

04heritage is right on the dot. once you get the radiator/fan cover off, you will see what needs to be unscrewed.

no need to take off the grill. when you get the lights, they will have little black tab thing on them. you will need to twist them to adjust how the lights will be. once you get the lights in, there is no room what-so-ever to get any kind of socket or hand down behing the radiator to adjust the lights. best bet is to set the black things to the same depth as your stock ones are.

ok... would it be out of the ordinary to set the light at night so i can set them to how far i want in front of me to light up... dad has the new 08 powerstroke... i dont know if you have seen the lights on them at night... but they shine about a mile ahead... no lie... but there not very bright up close to the pickup... and i dont like it... yes u can see what is coming way before u need to hit the brakes (for a deer or whatever) but u cant see close to the truck very well...

when i set them i want to be abel to see really good right in front of the truck... and as far out as i can...

the low beams provide excellent light up close. the dont shine as wide as the stocks, and are alittle short on the distance, but when you turn on your high beams, you will the deer running across the road in the next county! no lie

well the way fog lights work is they have almost a horizontal beam of light. that is why that cut through fog easy, because it isnt shining off of the water particles in the fog.

have you ever installed a small light fixture in your house? they are like the small silver wires in those. all you do is strip it just like a normal wire, then sauder. it doesnt take but 5-10 minutes to do it. if you ask your dad in advance, im sure he wouldnt mind helping you or showing you. that what i did with my dad. im only 19 myself, and i didnt really know about doing stuff like that. im sure hed be glad to help.

Minor point - you do not solder plastic. Spelling lesson for the day is over.
