No need for a tune for headers.

The headers from a mustang are the 3.8, but if you do that. 02 sensors will need to be rewired, new exhaust fabed up to the muffler. Just read this thread.

http://www.v6f150.com/forums/showthr...ht=Mac+headers
the MAC headers were shortys made specifically for an F-150 with the 4.2L. And theirs no way im doing the mustang swap. I know it will give me more power, but i would rather have something that bolts on and isnt so hard, maybe once i figure out wht im doing ill give it a try.

Since i prob don't need a tune for headers i think im going to get the Xcal2 in a few weeks, and get the headers in a month or two when i regain my savings lol

BTW, does anyone know how to convince your granny shifting father that spending $400+ on a programmer isnt a waste of money????hahaha

thanks again for all the help

Just talk to the guy about the tuner before buying it. He will be able to tune it better for you that way.
